The plate rubber bearing is divided into rectangular plate rubber bearing and circular plate rubber bearing from the shape. The plate rubber bearing is suitable for bridges with span less than 30m and small displacement. Circular bearings are mainly used for curved bridges, skew bridges, and cylindrical pier bridges, and rectangular bearings are used for rectangular bearings. The installation of the support can adopt cast-in-place beam construction or precast beam construction. It is more convenient to install the support for cast-in-place beams. During the installation of the support, the first step is to support the treatment of the cushion stone. When the support is placed on the support, the ground plane should be level and flat. After the pier cushion is built, place the support in the designed center position. The longitudinal axis of the T-beam should coincide with the centerline of the support: the longitudinal axis of the plate girder and box girder should be parallel to the centerline of the support . The beam should be dropped smoothly so that the support will not easily produce initial shear deformation.
When the initial shear deformation of the support occurs after the beam is dropped, the beam can be lifted up by a jack, the upper and lower surfaces of the support are coated with a layer of cement mortar, and then the beam is dropped, and the two parts of the bridge and the upper and lower surfaces of the pier and the support are completely attached. The supports at the end of the bridge beam are in the same plane, and the initial shear deformation of the supports no longer occurs.
