According to Yue Media on May 28, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) is announced to make anti-dumping and counter-subsidiaries from Vietnamese passenger cars and light truck tires. The Vietnamese Industry and Trade Department said that the department and Vietnamese National Bank, Industry, Pingyang Province and Xining Provincial People's Committee and various companies maintain close cooperation, continue to discuss with the US Department of Commerce to ensure the impartiality of Vietnamese manufacturers and producers anti-dumping survey results.
At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Vietnamese also negotiates with American institutions through different dialogue channels to prove that Vietnam has no dumping and subsidizing tire products and does not underestimate currency to obtain export advantages.
With regard to the conclusions of the United States under the underestimated Yue Shield exchange rate, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to consult with the US and the relevant ministries industry.
Previously, on May 24th, the US Department of Commerce announced the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy of passenger cars and light truck tires from South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
For anti-dumping content, DOC reserves the decision.
Therefore, most companies accounting for 95.5% of the total export of US automotive tires, is still identified as there is no dumping behavior (not being imposed on anti-dumping duties, and the remaining enterprises will be taxed according to the tax rate of 22.30%).
For anti-subsidy content, the US Department of Commerce also announced the final decision results for Vietnamese counter-subsidized tax rates as 6.23% -7.89% (primary division of 6.23% -10.08%).
This is a positive result for Vietnam tire manufacturers and exporters in the US market. This conclusion also protects the benefits of the rubber industry because there are about 80% of the natural rubber produced by Vietnam for production tires.
